Dual main camera system
DJI Air 3 is the first release in the Air series to feature a dual main camera system housed in a sleek and compact body with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x telephoto camera. Both cameras have the same sensor size, but different focal lengths for consistent image quality and more dynamic shooting capabilities.

Both the wide-angle and telephoto cameras are capable of recording 48MP photos with true-to-life detail and allow for smooth cropping in post-processing for those who need it.
4K/60fps HDR video
The Air 3’s dual 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors support double ISO for crop-free 4K/60fps HDR video. This means that footage from either camera would be full of rich colors and natural light transitions for breathtaking and highly accurate results.

Color profile – 10-bit D-Log M, 10-bit HLG
Both cameras also support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color profiles. The 10-bit D-Log M profile helps preserve more highlight and shadow detail for more flexibility in editing. The 10-bit HLG profile offers greater dynamic range, achieving excellent results without color adjustments in post-processing.
Longer flight, innovative charging
Air 3 offers up to 46 minutes of flight time, which is 48% more than the previous generation. This gives you plenty of time to explore, adjust compositions and get the shots you want during one flight.
The new battery charging hub supports an innovative power transfer function. Simply press and hold a function button to transfer the remaining power of multiple batteries to the battery with the highest capacity, giving you a full charge in situations where charging options are limited.
Obstacle detection in all directions
Omnidirectional Obstacle Avoidance enables all-round environmental awareness, allowing the Air 3 to detect obstacles in any direction. When obstacles are detected, Air 3 can use APAS 5.0 to perform smoother evasive maneuvers for an overall safer flight experience. Even complete beginners can now fly with confidence and execute creative ideas with enhanced safety.
DJI O4 Video transmission
The next-generation DJI O4 video transmission system gives the Air 3 significantly better transmission performance. It provides 20km video range with maximum stability and maximum quality live streaming at 1080p/60fps for ultra-smooth live image transmission.
Advanced RTH (return to home)
During Smart RTH, Air 3 automatically plans a flight path optimized for enhanced RTH while maintaining omni-directional obstacle detection to quickly and safely return to its home point.

FocusTrack
FocusTrack easily keeps you or your subject in the center of the frame. The 3x telecamera opens up a unique sense of spatial compression when highlighting objects. This updated tracking performance, combined with omnidirectional obstacle detection, allows you to make intelligent, well-planned shots whenever and wherever you need them.

2.7K vertical recording
The Air 3 supports 2.7K vertical recording with both cameras, leaving vertical shots dynamic when capturing landscapes or subjects. 2.7K vertical output directly from 4:3 CMOS delivers clips optimized for smartphone viewing, ready for social media sharing without the need to crop the post.
MasterShots
MasterShots allows the Air 3 to automatically perform various camera movements, capture multiple clips and edit them with music, cuts and effects for quick and simplified footage.

Night mode
Thanks to an advanced noise reduction algorithm, the Air 3 can capture noise-free footage at up to 4K/30fps in low light or at night.
Hyperlapse
Choose from four options including Free, Circle, Course Lock and Waypoint to capture timelapse footage up to 4K horizontally or 2.7K vertically.
Slow Motion
Choose 4K/100fps or 1080p/100fps to record 4x slow motion video directly.
SmartPhoto 3.0
In single shot mode, the Air 3 defaults to SmartPhoto 3.0, which can automatically switch between HDR, Hyperlight and Scene Detection for better shooting results based on the scenario. In HDR DNG format, the camera can record a higher dynamic range with built-in contrast enhancement. An image file can achieve JPG-level quality in post-processing software, which reduces post-production difficulties.
Quick transfer
Quickly upload photos and videos from the drone to your smartphone wirelessly, saving you time and effort.
LightCut application
Connect to the Air 3 wirelessly via the LightCut app on your smartphone for more creative options like one-touch editing. There is no need to download all the material during the process, which helps to save storage space on your mobile device
Hyper-enhanced imaging
Waypoint
For the first time, the waypoint function is now available in the Air series. Plan Air 3 flight paths and shooting actions in advance to achieve complex camera movements and amazing one-shots. You can also record flight paths to repeat the exact same movement at a later time or date, opening the door to long-lasting timelapse shots that capture transitions such as day to night or season to season.
